About QuikEyes

QuikEyes was originally designed in 2004 by Matt Lowenstein O.D. After 6 years in practice, Dr. Lowenstein’s file cabinets were completely filled with paper charts and he had no more room in his small office to devote to charts in paper form. He knew an electronic health records system was his only solution.

After searching for months for an easy to use and affordable EHR system he was discouraged with what he found on the market. He even spent thousands of dollars on an EHR product that he and his staff found impossible to implement and use in his office. At that point he decided to design his own EHR and QuikEyes was born.

Many skeptics said a small EHR company could not survive. After enduring the government’s failed attempt at Meaningful Use stages 1 and 2 (and becoming certified for both in 2011 and 2014) QuikEyes has not only survived, but thrived. 20 years after its founding QuikEyes is still here and proud to offer eye care providers an EHR system they will enjoy coming to work to use.

Our mission is to offer the easiest Eyecare EHR software to implement and use in a small to medium sized office. We listen to our community of doctors and make changes based on their suggestions.
